SCOUTS TO RECYCLE CHRISTMAS TREES ON SATURDAY JANUARY 4th 2025
Scouts BSA troops on the Seattle eastside will be recycling Christmas trees in exchange for donations on Saturday January 4th 2025. Over twenty scouting troops from Sammamish, Issaquah, North Bend, Redmond, Bellevue, Newcastle and surrounding areas participate in the drive. Seattle Eastside - Scouts BSA Christmas Tree Recycling and Tree Lots
Sammamish Scouts BSA troops will be recycling Christmas trees for Sammamish and Issaquah Highlands residents on Saturday January 4th 2025. This will be our 40th year of recycling trees! Over 200 Scouts and volunteers participate from seven Scouts BSA troops including two girl troops - Troops 571, 5749, 636, 677, 695, 8695 and 751.
Residents in Sammamish and Issaquah Highlands can place their tree curbside on Saturday January 4th by 8:00 AM. The suggested donation is $18-$28 per tree. Donations may be made online at https://www.ScoutTreeDrive.org or via a check attached to the tree inside a plastic ziploc bag.
The Scout Tree Drive is the primary fundraiser for local troops on the Sammamish plateau. All donations fund Scouting programs here in Sammamish and the Issaquah Highlands. Donations from residents are a crucial part of a troops ability to fund a quality program for local youth.
