SCOUTS TO RECYCLE CHRISTMAS TREES ON SATURDAY JANUARY 6th 2024
Sammamish Scouts BSA troops will be recycling Christmas trees for Sammamish and Issaquah Highlands residents on Saturday January 6th 2024. This will be our 39th year of recycling trees. Over 200 Scouts and volunteers participate from seven Scouts BSA troops - Troops 571, 5749, 636, 677, 695, 8695 and 751.
Residents in Sammamish and Issaquah Highlands can place their tree curbside on Saturday January 6th by 8:00 AM. The suggested donation is $18-$28 per tree. Donations may be made online at https://www.ScoutTreeDrive.org or via a check attached to the tree inside a plastic ziploc bag.
The Scout Tree Drive is the primary fundraiser for local troops on the Sammamish plateau. All donations fund Scouting programs here in Sammamish and the Issaquah Highlands. Donations from residents are a crucial part of a troops ability to fund a quality program for local youth.
